News Arhive: Black Eyed Peas Just Cant Stop Collaborating

Since collaborations are all the craze in music right now, the Black Eyed Peas have decided to fill their upcoming CD with them.

According to MTV, the band are enlisting the help of some legendary musicians to complete their next album, Monkey Business. Due out in May, it will feature appearances by James Brown, John Legend and guitarist Dick Dale. There isn’t much info on what these songs will sound like, but Legend will be featured on a song called "Change The World," while Brown appears on "They Don't Want Music."

The first single off the disc will be "Don’t Funk With My Heart." The band were recently busy shooting the track's video with the Malloys, who did the band's video for "Shut Up." The Peas are no strangers to collaborations. On their last CD, they worked with Justin Timberlake and Papa Roach lead singer Jacoby Shaddix. They were also part of the huge opening mash-up at this year’s Grammy’s with Maroon 5 and Gwen Stefani, among others.

In other BEP news, Will.I.Am announced he's releasing a DVD of the band’s pre-Grammy performance. AllHipHop.com reports it will also feature performances by James Brown and Justin Timberlake. All proceeds from the DVD sales will go toward the tsunami relief fund. Will also recently kicked off his new clothing line in Las Vegas called I Am Clothing.
